A pyramid is a building where the outer surfaces are triangular and converge at a point. The base of a pyramid is usually trilateral or quadrilateral, meaning that a pyramid usually has four or five faces. A pyramid's design, with the majority of the weight closer to the ground, means that less material higher up on the pyramid will be pushing down from above: this allowed early civilizations to create stable monumental structures.The obvious and the most famous pyramids are the Egyptian pyramids — huge structures built of brick or stone, some of which are among the largest constructions!!

There are many types of pyramids such as: Egyptian pyramids, chinese pyramids, French pyramids, Indian pyramids, Greece pyramids, Mesoamerican pyramids and Mesopotamian pyramids (Two confusing ones), North American pyramids, Nubian pyramids, and more!!

The largest pyramid ever built by volume, is the Great Pyramid of Cholula.You may think Pyramids are scary places where Mummies are kept and some are! A Mummy is a corpse whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme coldness, very high humidity. Eew :P Well thats it on Pryamids featuring Mummies!!
